We separate learning bottlenecks into four causes.
A low score alone does not provide a prescription. We distinguish missing concepts, failure to apply known ideas, calculation or interpretation errors, and breakdowns in review or task execution.
The first consultation asks about repeated errors, the student’s first response to an unknown problem, exam time pressure, parent intervention needed to start homework, and the behaviour that should change after eight weeks.
